One Love Cali Reggae festival returns to Long Beach, California for another incredible year to celebrate reggae culture. This is our favorite reggae festival in SoCal as more than 50 artists are scheduled to perform, and the event is expanding back into 3 days for 2019, which means an entire weekend of nothing but good vibes, beautiful culture, and the best music reggae music has to offer. With the expansion back to 3 days in 2019, the event will again take over the Queen Mary on Feb 8-10th.
The event kicks off with reggae fan favorite from Santa Barbara, United States, Rebelution on Friday night, setting the tone of a relaxed weekend. Rebelution performed at the event the past several years, and is one not to miss. “Feeling Alright”, “Roots Reggae Music”, and “Safe and Sound” are some of our top picks at Girlshredclips Skateboarding. Rebelution has performed at well known venues around the world including Red Rocks. Other bands performing Friday night include Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, and Long Beach Dub All Stars.
The second day headliners include Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Soja, Fortunate Youth, Matisyahu and more! The second day of the festival is stacked with reggae rock music. We think you should definitely check out one of our Grammy nominated favorites, Soja, who currently reside in Hawaii but are originally from Virginia. The group is known for having influencing songs that will in turn, make this country a better place. Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads are the main performances you do not want to miss, and are a combination of punk and reggae rock music.
Finally the last day of the festival will include Sublime with Rome, Atmosphere, Iration, J Boog, The Green, Hirie and more. You don’t want to miss Sublime with Rome at this event as it is their first time playing at The Queen Mary for this event, and is sure to be a show you don’t want to miss. Sublime with Rome is a collaboration between American punk band Sublime, and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. Also, Atmosphere a hip-hop duo from Minneapolis Minnesota, who performed at the event last year will be returning again to play hit songs including “Yesterday”, and “Sunshine”.
There are different options for passes available this year -Weekend Pass, Pick 2 Days, Single Day Passes and VIP Tables. We recommend that you go all 3 days to this event, as there is nothing more special than being a part of 3 day reggae festival, not to mention there are many memorable performances on each day that you won’t want to miss!
