Top 5 Artists at Crush AZ, 10th Anniversary Edition

Insomniac and Relentless Beats team up again to bring you an incredible Valentine’s event this weekend. This being the festivals 10th year, the team really wanted to bring a memorable lineup with top artists closing Seven Lions, and Alesso, along with many other top picks. To help make the most of your time at the event, we decided to put together a list of our top 5 artists performing and why you should see them.

Coming from Stockholm, Sweeden one of our favorite DJs, Alesso, will be hailing the festival to an end on Saturday night. Alesso was initially contacted by Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia in 2011 to see if he wanted to work with them. SHM introduced Alesso to Djing and helped him with the production of tracks. Since then, Alesso has been a huge hit ranking on DJ Magazine’s list of top 100 DJs, headlining at music festivals across the globe including Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival, and of course the EDM home, Tomorrowland. Top songs from Alesso include the remix of “If I Lose Myself” by OneRepublic, the collaboration of “Calling (Lose My Mind) with Sebastian Ingrosso,  and “City of Dreams” with Dirty South.

Seven Lions

Seven Lions caught the attention of the music world when winning a Beatport remix conest in 2012 with his dubstep-infused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go.” Seven Lions has an earthy and soulful vibe, mixing in the vibes of trance and rushing bass music. Seven Lions music ranges anywhere from dupsteb to trance, making his music appealing to almost anyone.

Anna Lunoe

Coming from Sydney, Australia Anna Lunoe has a wide variety of specialties ranging from DJ, radio host, producer, vocalist, and curator of the dance scene. We personally enjoy listening to here on HYPERHOUSE is a weekly radio show airing worldwide on Beats 1, Apple Music, for a list of the time slot for your location, click here. Anna was the first solo act to play on the main stage at Electric Daisy Carnival, and has appeared at festivals across the U.S. including Coachella, Lollapalozza, and Electric Forest. In 2018, Anna has done collaborations with big name artists such as Dillon Francis, GTA, Born Dirty, Wax Motif, and Valentino Khan. She continues to thrive as time progresses, and does not stop and continues to keep going and making bigger moves than anyone in the game.

JOYRYDE is always a fun and funky time on the dancefloor. English DJ and producer, JOYRYDE was one of the most buzzing upcoming DJs in 2016 with support from likers of DJ Snake, Major Lazer, Big Gigantic, Yellow Claw, Tchami, Knife Party, NGHTMRE, GRiZ, Don Diablo, Ephwurd, Ghastly, Dyro, and Jauz. YourEDM included JOYRYDE in their list of Top 10 producers of 2016. His music is bass-heave house music that will get you in a gangsta groove. He has many remixes of songs, some that are unreleased due to copyright wrangles including Infected Mushroom and Skazi.

For some more chill relaxed feels, head over to 3LAU for some good melodies. 3LAU first taught himself how to play the piano at just age five, and later the guitar and drums. He actually gets his inspiration from artists including Sigur Ros and Radiohead. He aims to bring you beauty, emotion, and freshness into his music. His key influences are Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Porter Robinson, Avicii, and Calvin Harris, and 3LAU continues to build an emerging genre, post-progressive house.
